Bulletin/Greeting: Hello! I do stand-up so much it scares me.

DemoPages Session Experience: I did jokes while Todd played guitar. There are times when I talk like a jazz singer during an interlude. Funny how when there is no audience and no laughs, a comedy set comes across as a very serious monologue in my one-woman play. What a visceral way to experience your jokes.

Listens to: Podcasts by women people think are annoying. The same bands since high school. The voice inside telling me I’m special.

Bio: Renee Groux is a stand-up comedian from Kitchener-Waterloo. She has appeared on Don't Tell Comedy, Guelph Comedy Festival, and the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She is the co-producer and host of Fever Dream Comedy, running Kitchener's longest-running all-women showcase, Girl Night. Girl Night will be presented as part of the 2026 Sorry! Comedy Festival in London, ON. She wrote and performed an original comedy play, "The Curse of Girl Night" which won "Best of Fest" at the 2026 Guelph Fringe Festival. Her debut comedy album, "We're Not Friends" can be heard on SiriusXM - watch the full special on youtube.
